Wake up to the faint peal of church bells from the village and fall asleep beneath the rugged geometry of ancient beamed ceilings. Nido d’Inverno offers its nesters three spacious private rooms with double beds (for single occupancy or couples), and three equally lovely rooms to share, each with two single beds. All rooms are comfortably outfitted with farm furniture, and have windows that frame different views of the olive orchards, vineyards, and textured hills that surround the property. The house is equipped with two shared upstairs bathrooms, and one downstairs bathroom for general use. We are happy to accommodate guests, but we have limited space. If we cannot house your guest we can point you toward other possibilities.
Nido d’Inverno provides both ample space for group events and quiet nooks to write, think, weep, dream, and nap. Feel free to participate in regular structured writing activities, or to follow your own rhythms and personal direction. Need a break from the written word? Strike out on your own or grab a companion to follow a path through the woods, explore hills of olive orchards and vineyards, stroll the dirt road into town, or admire the stunning landscapes that line the winding roads to neighboring villages. Whether engrossed in a current project or courting a new one, Nido d'Inverno will grant you uninterrupted time to think, the company of other writers, and the serenity and physical beauty of an unparalleled landscape. More about what to expect.
Hosted at two adjacent farmhouses, Nido d’Inverno provides you the opportunity to rub elbows with other writers. Share ideas and fresh focaccia at one of the inviting time-worn tables in the dining room or kitchen. Enjoy an evening glass of wine in the cozy seating areas around a wood stove or fireplace. Gather for midday group meals prepared by a local chef using fresh regionally sourced ingredients. More about food and drink.
